There are greens inside, too! And they’re not obvious in colour or taste. But they’re full of organic plant proteins – all 9 essential amino acids needed for your healthily growing kids and your pretty hair *wink* – and immune-boosting vitamins and minerals, all packed inside a small scoop of teensy green specks called Chlorella.

BLUEBERRY & BEETROOT SUPER SMOOTHIE | DAIRY, SUGAR AND WHEAT FREE

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 banana
  • ¼ cup dates
  • 1 cup chlorella-almond milk (see here for recipe, or just add ¼ tsp chlorella + 1 cup plain almond milk)
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil⁠
  • pinch salt
  • ice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend everything except the ice until smooth, to allow the coconut oil to emulsify.
  2. Add ice and blend again. Check consistency and add almond milk, water, or more ice if too thick for your liking. Blend. Enjoy.
