MATCHA SMOOTHIE VS MATCHA LATTE – dairy & sugar free

As a coffee addict, I find it tough to enjoy something that’s not coffee at ‘coffee time’. Except matcha. There’s something about the flavour that I can’t quite get enough of. For me, in the matcha smoothie vs matcha latte contest, they both win. Because one is warm and one is cold and they both taste nice so I win no matter the weather.

Bonus for me (it’s all about me today, isn’t it?); no dairy. Coffee is the one place dairy still lingers in my diet as I quest to at least mostly remove it. But matcha tastes better with plant milk. (I think.)

More bonuses *ping ping ping goes the sound of the bonus round*: I can share it with my kid, and it has health benefits. Yay.

With love and green-mustached grins,
Candice

Oh. You want to know the health benefits without having to Google it?

Matcha contains vitamins A, B, C, E, and K, and is apparently high in antioxidants (which remove free radicals from the body caused by stress, pollution, lifestyle and suchlike pandemonium).
It offers a large dose of chlorophyll which can boost metabolism and immune system, strengthen bones and heart health, promotes alertness and relaxation, etcereraaah, etceteraaah…
